A friend of mine had a baby shower recently. She was expecting a little boy. (Little man was actually born a couple days ago and he is adorable!) I thought I would try something out-of-the-box and creative as a baby shower gift. So I found this free pattern for Crochet Baby Sandals and tried it out! I think they turned out rather cute! Of course, I used V-man as the foot model to make sure they would actually work, and sure enough, they were a perfect accessory for his chubby little foot :)
I would have chosen different colors, but this was the only yarn I had quick access to at the time. Since I haven't crocheted anything in about a decade - and even then it was basically only dish-rags - I was quite pleased with how the little sandals turned out. And the mama-to-be loved them, which is all that matters :)
